National goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat, 23, ended his bachelorhood
when he tied the knot with model and entrepreneur Nur Eilunie Natasha
Nazri, 21, Friday.
The marriage was solemnised by Pasir Pekan Mosque imam Abdul Ghani Abdul Mutalib at the bride's house in Pasir Pekan here, this morning.
Clad in light yellow baju Melayu, Khairul Fahmi or Apek presented a dowry of RM19,000 and seven trays of bridal gifts while Nur Eilunie reciprocated with seven trays of gifts.
Besides families of the bride and groom, about 2,000 guests and fans were present at the ceremony.
Speaking to reporters after the ceremony, Khairul Fahmi admitted that he was very nervous when he uttered the 'akad nikah', but was glad that the ceremony went without a hitch.
